Salesianum
The Salesianum was established as a complex that houses the generalate of the Salesian Order. Relocated from Turin to Rome at the beginning of the 1970s, it has since been in use as a Center of Culture and spirituality for the exlusive use of the Salesian family.
The Salesianum has hosted various congresses, seminars, study groups, spiritual excercises and also residential courses, weekend briefings, general chapters etc.
In response to the numerous requests from other congregations and religious agencies familiar with the spirit of the Salesian order, and who have held various functions and meetings within the complex, the decision was taken to offer services not only within the Salesian order but also to the general public.
The Salesianum has since been restored and renovated to meet the high comfort and security standards and has also been equipped to meet all technological needs while respecting the Salesian mores and spirit.
The past decade of experience and our record in guest satisfaction lead to the conclusion that this has been the right decision to open up the Salesianum to the public, having agreed with the requests of our loyal guests and clientele.
